Pagla Ghora

Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi presents Pagla Ghoda, a theatre play as part of the SOVAPA Alumni Series.

Pagla Ghoda is a deeply introspective play about love, loss, desire, guilt, and the complexities of relationships between men and women. Rather than presenting love as an idealized or romantic experience, the play examines the darker and more complicated emotions that exist within human relationships. Written by one of India's most influential modern Playwrights, Badal Sircar, Pagla Ghoda combines psychological depth with social commentary, creating a haunting theatrical meditation on love, masculinity, patriarchy, and the human need for emotional connection.
